Watched Batman Begins and The Dark Knight again--Chris is really getting excited about the new Batman movie. I just still can't see how they can top the last--after watching TDK again I was just blown away--it is a *magnificent* movie. I do have high hopes for the last, but I think TDK is the equivalent of The Empire Strikes Back--the dark, extraordinary second film in the trilogy, and no matter how good the last, it still remains the best. We shall see.

Plus, I'm of the firm opinion that extended viewing of Christian Bale every once in awhile is good for the soul ;)

Egad; would you believe I haven't seen either of these Batman movies yet? I mean, I know I should...

I supposed I'll see the new one at some point - because cutie Matthew Modine is in it as a villain, correct?

You should! They are actually high quality movies--especially the second (but watch the first one first). Now that I think about it, there's a lot of eye candy for the girls in these movies too--all the "villains" really are physically attractive in one way or another ^^ NOT that it's the most important aspect, but for a "guy" movie, it doesn't hurt :)

Plus, Michael Caine as Alfred is just awesome.

I was actually introduced to the first movie through my brother. He used to be really into the Batman comics as a kid, and we used to watch the Animated series on T.V. during the summer.

I would highly recommend them. *Especially* the second one. But watch the first first :-)
