(no subject)

I just turned on my pillow to see a ginormous black spider skittering past my head. I hate spiders. I especially hate the "invisible" spider that disappears after you've leapt out of bed and turned the lights on.

Now I'm sleeping on the couch.

I found it this afternoon, hanging on the ceiling! It is now in vacuum heaven.

P.S. My mother has a theory about Adam and Eve and the Garden of Eden---it wasn't a serpent that was the tempter--we are both firmly convinced it was definitely a spider >_
