falastaHappy New Year everyone! Jennifer and the kids came down for Christmas and have been staying through New Year, so we've had a fun time down here. Justin is devouring about 2 1/2 books per day, Aiden is noticeably less aggressive and is amazingly still very affectionate. Spencer is an energetic, good natured (though mischievous!) kid who still delights in pushing Aiden's buttons. And Emily is just darn cute! (And TINY). I get along nicely with Jen and Co. And she isn't one of those parents who randomly assign you to take care of the kids without asking, so it's more like being with a family and less like being a free babysitter ;)
We did the Rose Parade this year, which was lots of fun. Some fantastic equestrian units and great bands. Though they really shouldn't put the Marine Corps in the front--it always makes the rest of the bands look kind of sloppy :)
